I am coming back from a knee injury and am starting to do hack squats again. It only seems to bother me at heavier weights. Can my legs still grow if I have to keep a lighter load?

Yes somewhat it’s just gonna be important to manage that injury as much as possible. So yes start as light as possible also warm up a lot and focus on feeling out the muscle as in contraction. Pushing through the muscle. As well as be vary particular with your recovery.
