there are so many conflicting ideas out there regarding training to failure. What percentage of your sets do you take to failure in your workouts?

Most of my sets are done at 1–2 reps in reserve (RIR). That means the set is very challenging, but I stop just before form breaks down. This allows me to: -Maintain high-quality execution -Recover well week to week -Progress loads and reps consistently -Keep joints and CNS healthy Sets I do take to true failure are many isolation exercises that are safe and effective to do so (hamstring curls, abductions, kickbacks, lateral raises etc) Strategy is important with volume, % to failure & quality
